NON-SURGICAL BUTTOCKPLASTY

Non-surgical buttock augmentation
There is a new and easy way to increase and lift the buttocks combining the application of tensioning threads with the insertion into the buttocks of PMMA. This product is a solution made up of acrylic microparticles immersed in a white-colored gel. Unlike the banned silicone, PMMA is not transparent and has been proved to be safe, lasting and biocompatible. Besides, it does not have side-effects such as allergies or rejection and stays in its place. The insertion of PMMA is a technique known as BIOPLASTY. The product is introduced into the body using microcannulas so as to avoid bruises and intravenous injections. The amount of PMMA needed will depend on the patient. However, good results can be obtained with 60 or 80 cc of the product. Tensioning threads also merit importance as they really help to project the backside. For safety, this procedure must be carried out in the operating room under local anesthetic although some patients also prefer sedation so as not to feel uncomfortable. It takes 1 hour to finish this procedure but patients stay 1 hour more to rest and for observation. They can return to their normal activities after 48 hours. Slight pain can be felt for over a week but this can be relieved with the help of analgesics and prescribed antibiotics. This technique can be further complemented with hip and waist liposuction to enhance the appearance of the buttocks. The patient own fat obtained from liposuction is mixed with plasma rich in platelets that can be used to increase the buttocks with long-lasting results.
